Matthew Stonehouse (35) has been appointed Engineering Manager at Concentric Pumps Ltd, a division of Concentric plc, the Birmingham-based manufacturer of pumps and fans for diesel engines.
In his new position, Matthew will be responsible for engineering services throughout the company's Birmingham manufacturing facility. He comes to Concentric from Honeywell Serck, also of Birmingham, where he spent six years, most recently as Engineering Services Manager.
Matthew has a broad experience of engineering management, having begun his career as a technical apprentice at Dunlop Aviation Division in Coventry. In twelve years with Dunlop he held a range of positions across the diversified Coventry site, culminating in his appointment as Product Engineering Manager.
Originally from Coventry, Matthew was educated at Woodlands School and is a freeman of the city, where he still lives.
Concentric plc is a major supplier to the world's, truck and construction equipment industries with plants in the UK, USA and India. The group manufactures oil lubrication and water pumps for diesel engines, as well as fuel pumps, lubrication pumps for transmissions and compressors, Truflo cooling fans and associated equipment.
