Ian Dugan has been appointed Chief Executive at Concentric plc, the Birmingham-based manufacturer of pumps and fans for diesel engines.
Ian joins Concentric from Alstom Transport Service UK, where he was Vice President in charge of train manufacturing and refurbishment. A graduate of Aston University, he has previously served as Managing Director of BTR Silvertown in Burton on Trent and of Serck Heat Transfer in Birmingham. He began his career as a an engineering apprentice at Serck before returning to join a management buy-out team and pilot the company in a rapid expansion which culminated in its successful sale to Honeywell.
Concentric plc is a major supplier to the world's, truck and construction equipment industries with plants in the UK, USA and India. The group manufactures oil lubrication and water pumps for diesel engines, as well as fuel pumps, lubrication pumps for transmissions and compressors, Truflo cooling fans and associated equipment.
Ian Dugan (45) is married, with two children and lives in Worcestershire.
