Concentric Inc. wins SHARP recognition

Concentric Inc. has received the SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) designation from OSHA (Occupational Health & Safety Administration, a division of the US Department of Labor) and the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

The SHARP program recognizes small employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. While in SHARP status, employers are exempted from OSHA's programmed inspection list. Concentric Inc. is one of 23 companies in the state of Illinois that has received this recognition. To qualify for SHARP, companies must undergo a comprehensive audit, correct all identified hazards, demonstrate that effective safety and health programs are in place, and maintain injury rates below the national average for their industry for the last three years.

Len Mason, President Concentric Inc. said "The award was a great honor for the company and recognition for the importance we apply to safety. It is credit for everyone in the company, but I particularly want to thank the Safety Committee for their energy in directing all of us towards this achievement."
