David Clark (43) has been appointed Purchasing and Logistics Manager at Concentric Pumps Limited, the Birmingham-based manufacturer of pumps for diesel engines, where he will be responsible for both commercial sourcing and logistical activities.
David joined Concentric 18 months ago from Alstom, the power generation specialist, in Rugby. Before that he had spent his entire career in the automotive industry, including almost four years as Logistics and Materials Manager at Honeywell Serck (formerly Serck Heat Transfer) in Birmingham. Born and bred in the West Midlands, David still lives in Coventry. After an HNC in Supply Chain Management, he became a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply.
His hobbies include keeping fit and playing golf. Concentric Pumps Limited is a subsidiary of Concentric plc, a major supplier to the world's, truck, agricultural and construction equipment industries with plants in the UK, USA and India. In addition to oil, fuel transfer and water pumps for diesel engines, the group also manufactures lubrication pumps for transmissions and compressors.
